Brazil imported 3.16 million metric tons of fertilizer in January, an increase of 5.4% compared to the same month in 2025, according to data released Monday (6th) by the National Association for the Diffusion of Fertilizers (ANDA). The data does not yet reflect the impact of the conflicts that began in late February, which have since disrupted global fertilizer markets. Several Middle Eastern countries are major global suppliers of fertilizers and fertilizer raw materials.
